LIMA — A benefit event is being held for Lima resident Jessica Jones, who was recently diagnosed with stage 3 neuroendocrine cancer which has spread to her ovaries, liver and bones.
The family is in need of a reliable vehicle in order to travel to and from medical appointments, as well as funds to cover medical bills.
Friends of Jessica are hosting a benefit to raise money from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 8, at 4740 Allentown Rd., Lima. The event will feature a garage sale, bake sale, 50/50 drawing, raffles, face painting and more.
They are also looking for items as donations to sell or raffle off during the event. All donations are due by Oct. 1.
More information can also be found on the Facebook event titled, “Benefit for Jessica Jones”.
